r-Protein L columns are used for fast and efficient purification of a wide range of antibodies and antibody fragments such as Fabs, single-chain variable fragments (scFv) and domain antibodies (Dabs).
- Has the ability to bind to a wide range of immunoglobulins without being species-specific
- Protein L offers an advantage over proteins A and G as it binds to kappa light chains regardless of heavy chain subclass
